Thanksgiving Wonders

Thanksgiving Wonders

The gravy is
like cream
flowing
through my
mouth
into
my stomach
so full
but
dissolving every
last drop
like a
clock ticking
away
at time
the cold weather
outside
blowing
like a whale's
s
p
o
u
t
across the wintery
land
inside
a fire
crackling
sparks f l y i n g
off
warmth
creamy
like the gravy
in my
mouth
